Diamonds in the rough can sometimes be hard to cut – decisions have to be made about how and/or where to cut.
The days have ticked by since the taking of the series from which the two compositions below have been selected; I could see potential but couldn’t get clear about what to do.
The good thing about digital image-making is that you can create any number of versions without harming the original. So here are two versions of the same image – each cropped differently.
The original shot didn’t quite work for me – too many elements, too much detail.
